Pros:
- LOTS of material
- Updated regularly
- Focuses on free traffic – not paid
- Very thorough and easy to follow
- Newbie friendly
- Good for intermediate affiliate marketers
- Great deal of variety in concepts
- Members forum where you can get help
- Email, Skype, and telephone support too
Cons:
- A bit long-winded at times
- Not for experts that have made money in affiliate marketing
- Not very likely to get telephone support like they talk about on the sales page (but you’ll probably never need it with the other support options available)
There is a very clear “Fast Start Guide” which outlines where to start and how to get started in affiliate marketing. Will you learn EVERYTHING there is to know about affiliate marketing? No, but that kind of product is virtually impossible to create. You will absolutely learn more than enough to begin making money online as long as you’re willing to put in the work. They teach you how to get search engine rankings (and all of the methods they teach actually work – I started my affiliate marketing career using the techniques they teach and still make money off of some of those sites to this day), how to convert visitors, and all of the basics like how to setup hosting and how to develop a website using WordPress.
The support system Kelly and Mike have created is pretty solid too. They talk a lot in the sales letter about how they are crazy to give out their cell numbers, but it’s not like you can just pick up the phone and call them. That would be impossible to keep up based on how many members they have, so I understand that. If you have a question, there’s a series of steps like checking the FAQ, posting in the forum for other members to answer, filing a support ticket, and text chatting with Mike and Kelly on Skype. If you go through all of their steps and don’t find the help you need, then you then can text them to see if they’re available and talk to them on the phone for help. With that being said…
I texted both Kelly Felix and Mike Long to see if I could get them on the phone really quick to verify that they offer phone support. I received a response from Kelly that read, “Make sure you read the rules regarding phone support in the members area. We don’t answer the phone just for fun or for interviews. We do it when you can’t get the help you need via the ticket system and forum. Thanks, Kelly.”
The only part of this that really irked me was, “We don’t answer the phone just for fun.” Does this make Kelly Felix kind of a dick in my eyes? Absolutely. Does it mean that their support is bad? Not at all. I can’t see any reason you would ever need to call them with all of the other support options they offer. But if you did end up needing it, they’re there.
As with any legitimate program, it will take time. You will need to put in some effort, practice, and learn from your mistakes. Nothing in this industry is a sure-fire way to make money. Also, nothing in this industry will make you rich with little effort on your behalf. But if you’re looking for a program that will legitimately teach you how to make money online as long as you take the time to watch the videos, follow everything step-by-step, and then learn from what works and what doesn’t work along the way, it doesn’t get much better than Bring the Fresh (affiliate link).
Summary: A decent product, but leadership and support in competing products beat BTF
Description: Bring the Fresh is MUCH better than many products out there but I experienced a few things that REALLY need to be improved. Details in this review.
Rating: 3 out of 5.
So do you actually purchase the products before reviewing or are you able to get them for free?
I am looking into a similar niche as you and a concern is that in order to give a legit review one would have to buy the product, and that would be a pretty big cost in itself..
I buy every product I review, without a doubt. I perceive it to be somewhat deceptive if I give a product review without purchasing it. Even if I’m 99% sure it’s going to be a scam based on the sales promises and fake testimonials, I still always buy the product to make sure my visitors are getting a completely honest, insightful review.
I’m really wanna join Chris Farrell membership but My English is not good at all. Can i still join???
Hey Beleng, yes you can. As long as you understand English well enough to follow the lessons, this shouldn’t be an issue. You can use the lessons to create a niche site in your native language as well, if you’re more comfortable with that. But as long as you understand English well enough to follow the lessons, that should not be an issue. I hope that helps!
Hey there everyone, I just wanted to share a little about my experience with BTF. Well I tried it out for exactly a month.
One thing to say is that there’s a lot of content in there, but as beginner internet marketer like myself its fairly easy to follow, the videos and the pdf are all laid out nicely. However I find that there’s too many upsells, even after you just sign up, there’s upsells before you even get to the members area!… ๐
In the trainings, he promotes a lot of products that you should use, keyword search tools, article writing services, bookmarking / back linking services and such so in the end it makes you feel that you have to buy these things to be successful using his methods, because in the video trainings he uses them to come up with niches and all that. Also, I found his video trainings long winded most of the time and he also goes off topic alot that you get confused.
Well in any case, based on all the above and the limited budget that I wanted to spend on this, I decided to end the membership and join Wealthy Affiliate as I thought there was way too many things to buy before you get your site up and the video trainings were always so long and confusing. ๐ I’ll comment on my experiences with WA shortly ๐
So if I join through you, are you my sponsor/mentor? Or is this more of an “on-my-own/community” kind of program?
Oops, this was meant to be on the WA page, but still. Same question for both.
No problem Cory, I answered your last comment below regarding WA.
Hey Cory, no these programs aren’t MLM’s or network marketing companies so nobody will be your sponsor/mentor. WA has a very elaborate and supportive community (even better than any MLM I’ve reviewed negatively) but you will be the only one benefiting from your successful business, no sponsor will make money off of your success.
Hi
Can you make video about BTF 2013 What’s new in it ?
I signed up for Wealthy Affiliate and watched the beginning videos. They say the free trial period is for 7 days not 10 days. Will it help me get videos I make get viewers and customers, as well as customers from Facebook? A friend says he got 700 likes for his ebook on Facebook, but no sales.
Hello This is Drevon Roane. I want to thank you for giving an honest review about EN. I came so close to joining but I followed my intuition to get more information on Empower Network. The reason behind that is because I figure It help out with amway.(which Im currently in also is gonna me my next question.) Im also notice that your free ebook and was wondering if it helps with amway.
Hey Drevon, thanks for reaching out. I’m not an MLM expert, so I can’t comment on the legitimacy of Amway. I know there are people doing very well in it, and others banging their head against a wall and getting nowhere (as with any MLM). I’m glad I could help you with Empower Network as it’s an internet marketing product, but concerning Amway – unfortunately I cannot be of much help. My eBook is written for people trying to start an internet business through affiliate marketing. Some of the principles might apply, but that is mainly for people looking to build and grow profitable websites. I wish I could have been of more help, but best of luck to you anyways!
Your Summary Ian: A decent product, but leadership and support in competing products beat BTF.
Could you please list out the competing products that are better than BTF ,and please review these also next Ian?

There you will find the competing products I’ve found that beat out BTF.
Hi Ian,
I am a newbie to this online marketing/money making idea. I am writing to you for some direction as I’m starting out….since you have taken the time to do so many reviews, which out of your 4 positive reviews do you recommend I move forward with? I understand that the Chris Farrell Membership is good for newbie’s as you noted, but would you say the same for “Bring the Fresh”? It appears that the “Wealthy Affiliate” isn’t something I would want to start with correct?
Thanks in advance for your input.
~Lori
Hey Lori,ย
WA would actually be my top recommendation. It’s excellent for a beginner. If you try it for 10 days and decide it’s not for you (the length of their free trial), then Chris Farrell would be the next best thing for a beginner. It’s very easy to understand and follow, it just doesn’t teach as many advanced lessons as WA (whereas WA teaches basic and advanced, but some people prefer Chris’ teaching style to WA’s).ย
I hope that helps!ย
