What you’re about to read is a very, very negative Wake Up Millionaire review, because I believe what Patric Chan has done here is simply throw together a bunch of eBooks (mostly packed with fluffy, unhelpful information) and sold them for $47 instead of $5 or $10 each on Amazon like most people do. Throughout many years of internet marketing, I have never found this type of content helpful or beneficial to my business in any way, at least not in the way that Patric Chan presents it within Wake Up Millionaire.

With all of that being said, you may very well disagree with this review. If you are the type of person that is highly interested in “The Secret” or “Attraction Marketing”, if you like most of John C. Maxwell’s books, or if you have a higher tolerance for books packed with a lot of “fluff” and not very much substance then this product might very well be something you enjoy. I’ve read many books that accomplish the same purpose with significantly less filler and much more substance at a substantially lower price, and that is the main reason Patric Chan’s Wake Up Millionaire is receive a negative review from this site. For anyone that’s interested, I’ll list the alternative books that accomplish the same purpose and are thinner on “fluff” but thicker on substance toward the end of this review.

For now, let’s dig into Patric Chan’s product. I’ll take you through it section-by-section and give you a very clear idea of what you can expect out of the product if you choose to pay the $47.

The Wake Up Millionaire Members’ Area

Whenever you login to the members’ area, this is what you’ll see:

welcome landing page

You’ll notice each of the sections of the program in the left-side navigation. This is the entire product that you would gain access to for the $47. Every section within the Wake Up Millionaire product contains files to download (mostly eBooks) which I’ll walk you through one-by-one below.

The “WakeUp Millionaire Blueprint” Section

This is the core material of the product. Everything else you have access to was basically thrown in to fill out the product more as far as I can tell. I think the best way that I can illustrate the type of content that is within each of these downloadable PDFs is by sharing the Table of Contents pages with you, because I think that will give you a really good idea of what I mean when I accuse Patric Chan of filling this product out with mostly “fluff” and very little substance. Here’s the Table of Contents for the first part of this eBook:

In case you want to see the other Table of Contents pages for this section of the product, here’s the second and here’s the third.

To give you a very clear example of what kind of advice and direction Patric Chan is giving in these eBooks, here is a snippet from page 15, under the “Psychology – Creating Abundance of Opportunities” section:

Actual Content from within Wake Up Millionaire by Patric Chan

Let me ask you: do you believe in the “Law of Attraction?”

The teachings from the famous DVD, The Secrets?

I do, but not exactly the way it’s being taught. Well, that’s another story.

The reason I brought it up is because the abundance mindset has a lot of similarities with the Law of Attraction.

In summary, the Law of Attraction is the name given to the belief that “like attracts like” and that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts, one can bring about positive or negative results. Well, that’s what Wikipedia says, anyway.

With the abundance of opportunity mindset, it means that opportunities will never run out. It’s unlimited. Like sands at the beach, water in the ocean. Get what I mean?

If opportunities are unlimited, isn’t it fair for me to say that we can ALWAYS create wealth whenever we want?

There is never lack of opportunities in today’s time.

Take the example of writing this book.

In the past, in order to write a book, someone had to have writing talent. I’d also need to speak with book publishers and would have a hard time of thinking how to promote it.

Today, it’s different. I’m “writing” not as a writer, but as someone who is sharing his experience and knowledge.

It’s being “self-published” on the Internet. All I did was just PDF it. And promoting it wasn’t that hard because the world is all now “connected”. I don’t even need a physical bookstore to promote it.

As you can see, opportunity exists everywhere. Ideas could now be turned into cash easily. Turned into wealth.

There are many people today who do not have jobs because they’re making money by trading stocks, investing in properties or running their own Internet businesses at home. They are their own bosses.

The question is: do you have the psychology to support yourself?

Again, it goes back to mastering CERTAINTY.

Can you strongly agree that there’s abundance of opportunities? If you can, then the next step is answering the question of…

How do you attract them into your life?

Now that I’ve made it clear that opportunities are indeed in abundance, I’m going to go behind the rationality of this psychology – why this can help you to become wealthy.

You see, in order for you to make an immense amount of wealth, you need other people to help you. It’s too much work on your own.

I’ll be sharing a strategy later on in this book, but for now stay with me on this chapter of psychology.

NODOBY likes to work with people who work in fear, who are not confident in what they’re doing.

That’s what scarcity does to people – it injects fear in them.

While abundance creates confidence.

If you’re not confident in yourself or your own idea, what is the likelihood that others will have the confidence in you?

Your opportunity will fall to pieces.

The other problem of scarcity is that it takes you to desperate mode.

When you’re desperate, you do stupid things. It clouds your mind to think sharply. It confuses your own judgment.

I like being in abundance mode because it allows me to be free – not chained to just one option.

When my emotions and mind are free, I have creativity, happiness and energy.

Creativity to think of ideas and expand on opportunities.

Obviously, you need to be happy to achieve ANYTHING in life. How can you work when you’re not happy?

When I wake up in the morning and I know I am free, I have energy to do what I like.

I’m not bound to other people’s rules. I call my own shots.

Yes, that is the exact type of material you’re paying $47 for. It’s not just the core section either, every single eBook and piece of content that you’ll download from the Wake Up Millionaire members’ area will look exactly like this. Patric Chan breaks up every line into  short, quotable statements just like the above which makes for MASSIVE amounts of pages filled with fluffed up, useless content.

Hopefully by this point it’s becoming clear why I think this product and the content within it is so worthless, but if not, let’s continue through the other sections.

“12 Hours of Wealth and Wisdom” Audio Training

12 hours of wealth and wisdom

This section is just a series of downloadable audio interviews that Patric Chan has conducted in the past with people he respects and considers to be successful. The problem here is that VERY similar interviews are available for these people all across the internet for free. For example, if you search the internet for “Mark Victor Hansen interview”, you’ll find several interviews you can listen to or watch for free. The same goes for Bill Bartmann, John Assaraf, etc… There are bloggers within this industry that give away interviews exactly like this as free content, and there’s no reason to pay Patric Chan for access to this content.

The Money Success Formula and Reports

money and success formula report

Similarly to the fluffed up, low-on-substance content within the core product, “Wake Up Millionaire”, Patric Chan continues to under-deliver on content within this section. You’re given overly-emphasized, dragged out content packed with stories, illustrations, etc… all berating the exact same points over and over again. If statements like, “You must choose to be rich” resonate with you, then you might find this product more enlightening and helpful than I did. If statements like that turn you off or make you roll your eyes (or if you’ve read books/products like that in the past covering the same material), you absolutely don’t need to purchase Wake Up Millionaire. It’s all more of the same.

Just in case you’re interested, here are the Table of Contents pages for these two reports: The Money Formula TOC, The Success Formula Vol. 1 TOC, and The Success Formula Vol. 2 TOC.

The “Bonus” Section

the bonus section

Ever wanted your very own copy of “Walking with the Wise”, but a special copy where Patric Chan is featured? Well then Wake Up Millionaire is your type of product! Forget the fact that you can buy this exact book on Amazon for anywhere from $0.01 to $4.00 (just search the internet for “Walking with the Wise, Linda Forsythe and you’ll find it).  It won’t have the section featuring Patric, but you’re not missing much.

So your bonus is a $0.01 book you can buy on Amazon. Awesome. Nothing says quality quite like that.

Patric Chan Closes Poorly with an Upsell

Patric Chan's "special offer"

Just in case you didn’t get your fill of fluffed up, overly hyped, useless information in this product, Chan’s last section within Wake Up Millionaire is another $47 product for you to buy and continue wasting your time and money on. At this point it just felt like a slap in the face that Patric had under-delivered so horribly and then tries to get even more hard earned money out of you.

Final Verdict: Buy Real Books with Real Substance

There were no “aha” moments or realizations that occurred to me while reading through any of Patric Chan’s material. I was annoyed by how little substance there was even though there are several hundred pages of total reading. Even if you are a  person that finds materials like “The Secret” helpful, there are world-renowned, widely respected books within that industry for $5 to $15 that you’d be much better of reading.

It’s been a rare occasion that I picked up a motivational book, but there are a handful that I highly recommend. These are not books about attracting abundance or positive thinking, they are books that help you see angles and learn new things as an aspiring businessperson or entrepreneur that you didn’t know before. These are my favorites, listed from most-enjoyed to least-enjoyed, all of which I think are significantly more valuable than what Patric Chan has put together in Wake Up Millionaire. Even better, they’re 1/5 or 1/3 of the price, which means you could by all of them if you felt inclined to do so:

Bottom line: This product is overpriced fluff that I’m not recommending on any level. There are so many better options to spend your time and money on, and this product appears to be something that Patric Chan through together from multiple files and products he has put together in the past, then packaged to sell so that he could have another stream of income. Don’t give Patric any of your hard-earned money. I hope that this review has clearly illustrated what type of product Wake Up Millionaire is and why I advise against purchasing it so strongly.
