CB Passive Income will make a lot of money through passive income, but unfortunately there’s one catch: it’ll only work if your name is Patric Chan. The only thing that buyers of CB Passive Income can expect is a hole in their pocket to the tune of $47. CB Passive Income is a recipe for frustration, and in this review I’ll explain why you’re better off investing your time and money elsewhere.
Promises of “Passive” Income
Patric Chan is trying to appeal to new internet marketers who dream of earning money passively on the internet. Who wouldn’t want to make money while doing nothing? It’s easy to be convinced by the CB Passive Income sales page, but a little digging reveals that it’s full of empty promises.
Chan claims to have found a “new” way of earning money online on autopilot that has allowed him to make money in the internet marketing niche, but how does he do it? Chan sends out a report to his list of subscribers with an affiliate offer that earns him a hefty 50% commission for every sale that he makes.
I want to be clear here – this is a legitimate way of earning money, but it has absolutely nothing to do with passive income. Earning money this way takes a TON of effort. You have to build a list of subscribers—not an easy task—write a report valuable enough that your readers will trust you with their email address, and then promote the actual offer. This is as grueling and time-consuming as internet marketing gets. Even worse – CB Passive Income doesn’t teach any of those topics – Chan just wants you to make him more money by cloning his personal campaign selling the very system you just purchased.
“Simple to Follow”?
Chan says that with CB Passive Income, you won’t have to do much to succeed, and he’ll “do the selling for you.” Fat chance, especially since Chan is selling CB Passive Income to you, not for you. This is the real way Chan earns his income.
Patric takes it a step further, writing a whole list of things you won’t need to do in order to start earning. He says all you have to do is send an email with your affiliate link to your list of subscribers, and then you’ll start earning – or so he claims. The part that goes unmentioned is that the hardest part about affiliate marketing is building a valuable list in the first place!
Any affiliate marketer will tell you that once you have a list, the rest is downhill. Patric Chan is trying to sell you a product where you do all the hard work promoting and building a list, and then he can swoop in and earn a share of your hard-earned profits – and he doesn’t even give you good training on building a list, which brings me to my next point…
Membership Section Letdown
If you buy into Patric Chan’s sales page and purchase CB Passive Income, you’re in for a massive disappointment. The walkthrough video is difficult to understand (there is a very thick accent) and the actual content is even less helpful. It’s a joke that this information costs $47.
All you receive is an affiliate link that will send visitors to a CB Passive Income landing page.
Yes, you heard correctly. Patric Chan expects you to pay $47 for an affiliate link. He claims in the video that you can “sit back and do whatever you’d like” but how on earth could you possibly make money by relaxing if all you have is an affiliate link that’s just… sitting there?
What Patric is claiming in the image above is impossible. The only way to make money with an affiliate link is through hard work. Things like building a list, sending your list valuable information, promoting an offer, etc… It takes a constant effort and there’s no such thing as passive income in this business. Unless your name is Patric Chan and you earn money by selling CB Passive Income to unsuspecting buyers for $47 a pop. That’s about as passive as it gets.
Chan might claim that the membership area includes a “training” section, but that’s another joke. The information in the CB Passive Income training section is very basic and can be found for free all over the internet.
Here is a list of topics included in the training section:
All of this information can be found through simple Google searches or by watching instructional videos on YouTube. There’s no reason to fork out $47 to gain access to this information. If you want the latest up-to-date information, there’s absolutely no need to rely on Patric Chan or CB Passive Income.
Final Verdict: Ditch Chan and Save $47
Chan’s main justification for buying CB Passive Income is that you’ll be able to earn money passively, which is a load of crap. The only way you can make money through affiliate marketing is with hard work. There’s no reason to pay for CB Passive Income if all you receive is an affiliate link that leads to a landing page and a bunch of crappy training (see image below).
Save yourself $47 and steer clear of Chan and CB Passive Income. If you want to earn money as an affiliate marketer, make sure you understand that you won’t be earning money passively. Ignore the lies of CB Passive Income—earning money by promoting affiliate offers takes a lot of hard work.

Summary: Patric Chan’s CB Passive Income is a JOKE of an affiliate marketing product.
Description: Patric Chan’s CB Passive Income isn’t going to earn you passive money, it’s just going to be a waste of $47. This review explains why (with screenshots).
Rating: 1 out of 5.
Too many promises to be true so I googled reviews on Patric Chan and end up here. Appreciate your work man!
Well Thanks IAN for your review on this CB Passive income well i almost paid for that 97.00 onetime with no recurring but i have been reading now on this WA but it’s free whats your opinion on this
I like WA. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely one of the best newbie-friendly products in this industry. I’ve reviewed it extensively here, as well as here (more recent).
Thank you Ian:
I was just about to fall for this. Something was telling me to check further. Thank you for the service you are providing. I will be checking back regularly.
Hi Ian,
I feel bit disappointing that i didn’t came across your view before jumping in, now the did is done, the question is , how do i get my 47 bucks back .. i found out its all a hype .. and to me its all a trick, beside promoting all this stuffs for some one else.. i can easily put up a few blog out dear and get my own sales page from click bank and worth else different from all this bogus promises.. i feel like damn! you robbed again! How possible to get this 47 bucks back again? bought via PayPal? barely a fortnight?
Yeah you should definitely be able to get your money back. If it’s still sold through Clickbank, that would be the easiest way to get your money back by far.
Thanks man, I appreciate. Please Ian, I came across this site and sounds too good to be true. Can you help me out. Check it out. http://www.earncashyearly.com/
Also, Ian I will need your email in order to talk privately.
Thanks.
Hey Stanley, I’ve reviewed that product under a different name (exact same product though) here: http://nomorebsreviews.com/7-day-cash-money-review-completely-worthless-get-rich-quick-scheme/
Thanks for shining the light on this crap is there any thing legit in this business? , evry time you think you have found some one you can trust they let you down by promoting crap getting sick of the whole scenario.
I know exactly what you’re talking about, Jamie. The highest rated product I’ve ever reviewed can be found here (nothing touches it after three years of running this site). If you have any follow-up questions after taking a look at it, don’t hesitate to reply or reach out to me directly.
I stupidly spent the $47 on the CB Passive Income, but when I looked at the training, it looked all confusing and time-consuming. How do I go about getting a refund?
How to Get a Clickbank Refund
The first thing that I noticed when searching for CB Passive reviews, were that the first several had CB Passive in the domain name. I skipped over those, figuring they were written by Patric Chan or friends of Patric. Thank you for saving me a bunch of time and the $47. I’ve bought products before without reading the reviews. What a mistake that was. A while back I purchased Devon Browns Renegade system. I never made anything with that, and wasted massive amounts of time. I recently just received an offer from another marketer, and you can bet that I unsubscribed from his list. Thanks Ian for the in depth review of the CB Passive Income system.
No problem at all, Mark! I’m glad that I could help save you a bit of money.
See, it was all very interesting but what the page couldn’t answer for me was that “What was in it for him?”. I’m sure no one will pull so much effort just to make money for someone else. Maybe, what you promote to others is the same “turnkey product”. CB Passive Income, itself. And, it seems I’m right.
So, what’s in it for you here, Ian? You see, when I first looked at the post and all the links and subscription notices scattered all over the page to your product, I was thinking, “This is one of those guys who destroys other people’s products so they can sell theirs.” But, you kinda agreed to, or confirmed, my point regarding CBPassiveIncome so I’m not thinking that so much now.
Your suspicions about CB Passive Income were spot on, and unfortunately that “business model” (if one can call it that) is way, way too common in this industry these days. And I do advertise my free eBook and free lessons throughout the site, yes, but they’re all 100% free and have no strings attached. There are a couple of programs out there that I endorse pretty openly because they’re as good as products get in this industry, but mainly I just try to get people to grab at least one of my free resources so they can figure out whether or not affiliate marketing/internet marketing is a good fit for them. Contrary to popular belief instilled in people by all of the “gurus” and scummy sales pages out there, the answer is usually “No” because most people aren’t willing to put forth the massive amount of time, effort, and initiative necessary to make it in this industry even when they find a good product. I hope that answers all of your questions, J! Thanks for reading and taking the time to leave a comment.
I was taken with Patric Chan’s view saying that it was a “scheme” to make money (which I immediately twigged to and was suitably vague in its description), and then he said it wasn’t a “get-rich-quick scheme”, to which I was thinking, “Wait…what? You just said it WAS a scheme (with all of it’s negative connotations), and then you said it WASN’T a scheme…ummm…okay.” Definitely won’t be purchasing. Good review.
I just happened to see your site while looking for info on cb passive income. I purchased the product several days ago, but the more I got into the training aspect of it the more I became apprehensive about my purchase. Your review confirmed my suspicions.
Will definitely bookmark york site for future reference.
Thanks,
Miles
I have to say that I’m now a fan of No BS Review by Ian Prybill. I was just like you MP where I also bought a program because the sales page was so tempting, and read reviews about the program later on. The review of No BS Review just confirmed my disappointment and since then, made it a point to go to this website first before buying any internet marketing program. And came here while making reviews of CB Passive Income.
Thanks a lot for taking the time to read this review and leave a comment, Diosdado! I’m glad I was able to help.
Hello Ian,
Thanks for your review. I was on the verge of purchasing CB Passive Income, but I decided to do some research and found your review. After reading it, I decided to check out your free resources instead.
Thanks again,
Sandy
Hey Sandy! I’m very happy to hear that. If you have any questions regarding any of the free resources or anything else related to IM/AM that I can help with, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m happy to help any way that I can.
Wow, thanks man!! I just off from kevin fahey promises and was trying to see the other side of this method!!
What do you recommend to make a good “list” for a newbie so we can get traffic to sites like clickbank?
Hey J, thanks for reading and commenting! I’m glad that you found my review to be helpful. I actually cover this for free in my SIMPLE7 email course (incentivizing opt-ins and then building out an autoresponder sequence that should lead to affiliate commissions if my instructions are followed properly. I recommend you check that out before buying anything else – there’s no catch, it’s 100% free and I think I cover those topics around lesson four or five. I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
Honestly, I disagree with just about every single thing you have said in this review. You have seriously misrepresented the income potential of CB passive Income. You’ve also neglected to mention that there is an option available that will allow you to add the subscribers that opt-in to your squeeze page to your own list as well.
I am a very experienced and successful marketer, and this is the one product I would recommend to any newbie just getting into Internet Marketing. Why? Because for $47 you get everything you need to start making money. You don’t need to purchase a domain, web hosting, squeeze page or website templates, or an autoresponder account. All you have to do is send traffic to the squeeze pages that you are provided with CB Passive Income.
While it is true that you are adding subscribers to Patric Chan’s list and he is promoting his products to them, it is your affiliate links that are in the emails he sends to the leads that you added. Yes, he does get 50% of the sale, but so do you.
I am a very experienced Internet Marketer and I am also quite successful. Not tooting my own horn just stating fact. I tell you this because I have purchased dozens of lame products in the past that promise the world and don’t deliver. CB Passive Income is NOT one of those. If you work hard to send traffic to the squeeze pages you are provided you will make sales. In fact, I decided to test drive the program myself and was able to make 2 sales within a week after purchasing the product.
I will say that it will probably not be that easy for the new marketer because I have several streams of traffic already in place and it was pretty easy for me to get leads since I’ve been doing this a while. However, the training provided with the course is excellent and if you watch the videos and read the training reports and follow those methods you will drive traffic.
Also, you make it seem like the newbie has to write their own report and build their own list and basically do everything an experienced marketer does before they start promoting this. That is simply not the case. The whole point of this product is that everything is done for you. Patric Chan even writes and emails the leads for you. As long as you work hard and drive traffic this product will work for you.
If you want to just sit around and you think that because you bought the product you are just automatically going to start making money well then you are dead wrong. Products like that do not exist.
I respect that you are trying to bring honest reviews about all of the Internet Marketing products out there. I do the same thing on my blog. I absolutely HATE the marketers who write positive review after positive review and don’t even own the product they are reviewing. And I hate the idiots who offer all kinds of “bonuses” for you to buy through their affiliate links. Those practices are indeed despicable.
If you don’t like this product then you have every right to write a negative review, and I respect anyone who is willing to stand their ground and express their opinion. However, I must disagree with you. I believe that CB Passive Income is a solid product that works and I am saying that from firsthand experience because it worked for me and it has worked for a young man that I am coaching. I hope you decide to publish this comment. If you do you will certainly earn my respect.
Hey Chris, thanks for taking the time to leave such a lengthy reply and share your thoughts. I can understand follow some of your thoughts to a degree, because as an experienced internet marketer with a list, I too could probably make a little side income with CB Passive Income. But this product isn’t advertised or marketed to affiliate marketers, this product is marketed toward newbies and then seriously under-delivers on its promises.
You mentioned in your comment, “You don’t need to purchase a domain, web hosting, squeeze page or website templates, or an autoresponder account. All you have to do is send traffic to the squeeze pages that you are provided with CB Passive Income.“
You and I both know that this is no small feat or easy thing to do. Driving traffic to a landing page is extraordinarily difficult for new internet marketers and most of them have no idea how in the world to do it. It’s impossible to drive traffic to these landing pages using SEO or PPC, and the best way to send traffic to a CB Passive Income landing page is arguably by emailing the landing pages to your already established lists. I’d be willing to bet that 99% or more of people purchasing Patric Chan’s product don’t have a list and have absolutely no idea how to create one, and the training in CB Passive income is far from sufficient in getting a new internet marketer from zero to listbuilding, then profiting from the landing pages passively like the sales page promises.
Also in your comment, you acknowledge this to a degree by stating: “I will say that it will probably not be that easy for the new marketer because I have several streams of traffic already in place and it was pretty easy for me to get leads since I’ve been doing this a while.” when just a few lines before that you stated, “…this is the one product I would recommend to any newbie just getting into Internet Marketing.” I’m not saying that there are products out there that make it “easy” for new internet marketers to succeed – I’m constantly stressing how hard it is to build a business in this industry and that it’s much more difficult than most product publishers make it seem, but I’ve reviewed a lot of products and there are others (even ones that I’ve reviewed negatively) that I believe were more honest in their sales pages and delivered a product that set newbies up for success a little bit better.
What my reviews ultimately boil down to is how well a product holds up against the claims they made on the sales page before the customer makes the purchase. CB Passive Income absolutely tanks in this regard. Patric Chan paints an extraordinarily passive and easy system, but driving traffic is arguably one of the most difficult things to do in affiliate marketing for a new internet marketer (especially when you’re stripped of the ability to leverage PPC or SEO right out of the gate due to duplicate content). The CB Passive Income sales page even states that “you don’t even have to learn internet marketing” which is a far cry from the truth, as even you’ve stated, “As long as you work hard and drive traffic this product will work for you.” I agree that it’s impossible to just sit around and make money just because you bought the product, but that’s almost exactly what Patric Chan’s sales page promises over and over again.
With all of that being said, I think you have an equal right to review the product positively as I have to review it negatively, and I also respect a person that stands their ground and expresses their opinion as you’ve done here. We happen to see two very different angles when we look at the same product and I greatly appreciate the time you took to type up such a detailed comment. I wish you continued success in your IM business, Chris, and I really appreciate you stopping by.
Hi Chris,
Thank you for your in-depth analysis of CBPassiveIncome
What kind of traffic source do you use to generate sales
Like a lot of other folks, I spent a bunch of money on solo ads and have 200+ opt-ins but no sales
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!
Hi Ian, I was also thinking of purchasing this product CB Passive Income. Ian in your opinion what would you recommend for the absolute newbie trying to make any money on the internet? Ian does anything out here exist for newbies to make $100 a day online? To do this what would you suggest? Thank you Kevin.
Hey Kevin! Thanks for reaching out – I’m glad I was able to help prevent you from buying CB Passive Income with this review. Getting to $100 a day will take a lot of time and hard work, but if you’re willing to put in the time and effort than you can definitely get there with the right training. I highly recommend checking out a few of my free resources, that way you don’t have to buy a program right off of the bat and you can get started now, but you won’t have to spend any money or worry about whether or not the training you’re getting is high enough quality.
I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
Thanks!
Finally if you sift through all the Bullshit you finally can get an honest review. I mean really? When are people going to get the “light bulb” to go off and figure all these “honest reviews” are either written by people promoting the program or friends of Chan? Its nothing more than the old send them to the opt in form, hammer them with emails until they sign up then bombard them with upsell, downsell, sideways sell, and every other damn sell, meanwhile they are emptying their pockets!
You’re absolutely right. It’s a shame, but this industry is really rigged for “positive” reviews, which are typically put together by a bunch of people that haven’t even purchased the product and don’t really care whether or not they deceive somebody into buying a crappy product, they only care about making their commission. Thanks for stopping by, reading, and commenting, Mt Davis! If I can help with anything else down the road, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Thank you Ian, I really appreciate your reviews.
You you saved me $47.
Thanks again.
Mykl.
Glad that I could help, Michael! Thank you for reading and commenting to let me know it helped – if you have any other questions don’t hesitate to reach out!
Hey Ian,
Wow, I was nearly ‘thought’ of getting it. Nice review mate. I was pretty skeptical myself since I never believe in easy money … unless you rob a bank etc but you get the point.
Thanks for sharing and appreciate it.
Hey Reginald! Thanks for reading and commenting, and I’m glad you found it helpful. If you have any other questions (not related to robbing a bank for obvious reasons, haha) please don’t hesitate to reach out!
Robbing a bank is not, in any way, easy money. It takes a lot of planning and skill, mind.
Thanks for this post, I am glad I found it before buying into the hype, I was honostly having 2nd thoughts due to the typical “Get Rich Quick Language” in there, I was thinking, Boy I’d have to be dumb to fall for this.
No problem RG! You’re absolutely right – it’s all hype and a really horrible product delivered on the back end. I’m glad that you did your research before buying!
